Bob Povaschuk does the yearbook reviews and edits the newsletter. He is the founder of the Canadian Yearbook Review.

Bob was a yearbook staff advisor for over twenty five years at various schools within the Edmonton Public School Board. He taught Communication Technology at high school for thirty years, education courses at the University of Alberta as a sessional lecturer for eleven years, and photography at night school. He has given presentations on photography and graphic design at Herff Jones and Friesens conferences in Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, Toronto, Windsor NS, North Bay, Vancouver and Vernon.

Bob has a Master of Education from the U of A, in Educational Technology. He also has a Grad Diploma from the University of Oregon in Learning Resources. He continues to take courses in graphic design in his commitment to lifelong learning.

 

 


Cath Povaschuk is the web master and bookkeeper at the Canadian Yearbook Review. She also looks at all of the yearbooks, especially at the photography, and provides input into the reviews.

Cath attained her Master of Photographic Arts from the Professional Photographers of Canada in 2001, and was awarded her First Bar to the Masters in 2005. She has had her photography published nationally and internationally in professional photographic magazines. Cath has also judged in Canadian Professional Print Salon competitions.
