Jenna Frank
Jenna acted as yearbook editor of the Bishop Ryan Catholic Secondary School, located in Hamilton, Ontario. Her teacher, Sheri Civitareale, commented, "Her combination of academic achievement, community involvement and personal character make Jenna an ideal candidate for the Canadian Yearbook Review editor scholarship."

Jenna was a coach with the Seekers Volleyball Camp, and activities coordinator for Maple Leaf Foods and All Star Sports Camp. Within the school, she was active with student council, the badminton team, volleyball, basketball, the diversity club, and the debate club. Within the community, she volunteered at the Hamilton Spectator, McMaster Children’s Hospital, Terry Fox Run, and the Children’s Wish Foundation, to mention but a few.

When asked to comment on her current status, Jena said, "Since graduating from Bishop Ryan Catholic Secondary School in June 2010, I have now started studies at Trent University, with a free tuition scholarship. I am studying in the Queen’s Trent Concurrent Education program. This unique program is one that allows me to work on my Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University, while completing my Bachelor of Science at Trent University. I am undertaking a joint major in biology and psychology with a minor in physical geography. "

We are most impressed with all aspects of Jenna’s application and are assured that our scholarship will help her as she continues to impact on the lives of everyone she associates with in her post-secondary studies.
